I have always had a passion for painting and drawing and was guided and taught by my mother who attended Elim Art School, who was a very accomplished artist.
I have been teaching art workshops for the last 10 years, teaching and showing tips and techniques to put art works together for superior results.
My painting style is traditional realism and if you want to learn this style I teach it, but more often that not most puplis have their own style, but desire guidance on how to take their painting skills to the next level.
I show how to sharpen your drawing skills, mix colours, use mediums, prepare canvasses or other painting surfaces to obtain top results.
I paint with watercolours, acrylics and oil paints, and teach all methods in these types. In my workshops (weather permitting) drawing and painting can be done outdoors, at the beach, by a stream or by the bush and then put it all together in my huge studio overlooking the Hauraki Gulf. |
